The Mom, I See War initiative has received the prestigious European Excellence Awards 2022 (https://www.excellence-awards.com/best-of-2022/), recognizing its outstanding achievement in the field of international communications. This esteemed competition acknowledges exceptional campaigns from professionals around the globe. The Perfect PR agency played a crucial role in skillfully executing the project’s communication efforts, spreading the impactful vision of the art project. The initiative’s accomplishment in acquiring a vast collection of artwork was acknowledged for its excellence and effectiveness in delivering its message.

The recognition garnered at the European Excellence Awards serves as a reminder to the international community about the ongoing war in Ukraine and the experiences of its affected children. Originating in bomb shelters or in the midst of rushed evacuations, the drawings capture the raw emotions, resilience, and aspirations of children amidst the violent conflict. Natalia Ulynets, CEO of Perfect PR and co-founder of the Mom, I See War initiative, expressed gratitude for the award and underscored that the project serves to “remind the international community about the ongoing war in Ukraine and the plight of its affected children. Through artistic expressions, this invaluable initiative captures these children’s raw emotions, experiences, resilience, and aspirations amidst conflict. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the children who bravely shared their drawings and stories.”

Simultaneously, the initiative received a second award from the esteemed “Door to Freedom” award at the 14th NNW International Film Festival held in Gdynia, Poland. The festival welcomed notable guests from Ukraine, including Danylo Tsvok, another co-founder of the Mom, I See War initiative, and Anastasia Boldina, one of the children featured in the archive whose poignant drawing captivated audiences. Anastasia shared her experience of finding solace in drawing amidst the chaos of explosions in the basement, highlighting the immense tragedy of war.
